Wonderful scented trusses of white or lilac-white flowers often tinged pink in May-June. This is the hardiest scented species that will tolerate more heat, but it does need some protection from wind and late frosts. It is a fast growing plant that flowers after 5 years. It is definitely worth the wait as the olive green leaves and fresh young foliage are particularly attractive. Height 180cm in 10 years.
